NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.

Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.

We are now encouraging patients to contact the surgery online through our website or NHS app, using AccurRx Patient Triage. This allows patients to send us online requests, explaining why they need an appointment.  This request is then reviewed by a GP/ANP and, if an appointment is needed, one will be offered to the patient within an appropriate time-frame.

We still offer some pre-bookable appointments but the majority of our GP appointments will now be triaged before being booked via the AccuRxTriage Request. Patients who are unable to go online to do this themselves will have the option of our reception team completing a request on their behalf.  In this way, all patients, whether going online or calling reception will have their request dealt with in the same way. 

There is no longer any advantage to calling at 08:00.  You can contact the surgery at any time during opening hours and have peace of mind that your request will be reviewed by a GP and the appropriate action will be taken.

If you need urgent medical treatment whilst we are closed please contact NHS 111.  We will reopen at 8am the following morning as usual
